While in my third year of fashion blogging, I decided to start adding bits and pieces of home style into my fashion blog, West Virginia Fashion (WVF). As I've made my own home here in West Virginia, I thought it would be appropiate to help showcase some of the best homes for sale in West Virginia so others can make their home here as well. I've long thought about adding home style features to my blog, but decided with the help of friends to give anything and everything home-related onto it's own space: WVF @ Home.

crisp fall day in 2000, my ninth grade history teacher--a transplant
from the Deep South--declared he loved West Virginia for many reasons.
However, one of the reasons he loved the state so much was the fact
"that West Virginia was ten years behind the rest of the nation, "so
when the world comes to an end, West Virginia still has ten years!"
When it comes to style and fashion, what my teacher told me so many
years is nothing but gospel. I've started this blog to help encourage
West Virginia women (and men) to fight the Appalachian stereotype and
look their stylish best. No matter your budget, there's no reason to
not present yourself as best you can. If we all work together, we can
make ourselves as beautiful as the West Virginia hills in autumn.
